Childcare is much more than just a place you bring your child when you go to work. It is a trusted and safe place where your child can develop, learn and play with other children. Moreover, the childcare temporarily takes over your role of caretaker and educator.
This is how Little Jungle offers first class care
We realise how important your child is to you, which is why we want to be able to offer the best possible care. This knowledge determines the design of our locations, the composition of the groups, the activities, the way the rooms are set up and our pedagogical approach. Do you want more information, a no-obligation conversation or a tour at one of our locations? Call 040 – 237 5761 or send us a message. Within Little Jungle childcare, the pedagogical goals as specified by the Childcare Act (core goals) are central:
Providing social-emotional safety
Providing children with safety comes first in our organisation. By offering a safe and protected environment, a child can relax and develop optimally, which is very valuable for realising the 3 goals below.
Stimulating social competencies
Because we take care of your child in groups with multiple kids of different ages, the development of social skills is greatly stimulated. They learn to interact with others and take each other into account. They learn how to help others, how to work together and how to wait for their turn.
Stimulating personal competencies
The broad range of playing materials and knowledge of our pedagogical staff, we stimulate the development of children throughout the day at a physical, emotional, creative, linguistic and sensible level. Children are given every opportunity to gain new experiences.
Transfer of values and norms
Within Little Jungle childcare, there are clear rules and codes of conduct, in which mutual respect is always the starting point. When it comes to the transfer of norms and values, our pedagogical staff have an exemplary role and guide children in making these rules their own.
Based on the central pedagogical policy plan, a method has been written for each location. Each method describes how the above pedagogical goals are implemented in the daily practice at the relevant location. The central pedagogical policy plan and method of a location can be sent to you upon request.
